About We Rock the Spectrum Lake County

Hi! My name is Angela Cacic Panzarella. I am a mother of three, active boys, Dominic (16), Anthony (14) and Niko (8). In 2010, Anthony was born with serious congenital heart defect called Hypo Plastic Left Heart. Anthony spent 6 1/2 months in the hospital fighting for his life. He endured three open heart surgeries and multiple complications. They did not stop Anthony, our Miracle Man! Following his extensive hospital stay, Anthony had every therapy you could think of. Although we thought therapy was very important to Anthony’s overall success, we also wanted Anthony to have his childhood and not be just a patient. We wanted a balance of therapy and play! Experiencing these challenges left me to find alternatives. We visited our first We Rock the Spectrum in April and were amazed! I thought finally a place where all my children can successfully play together! I was not looking to start a business, but I thought about how much our community was in need of a play gym with the WRTS concept! I proposed the idea to my brother, Rob Cacic, who is the boys favorite uncle! He didn’t hesitate to support the new business venture.

We want every child to have the same opportunities, no matter what abilities or disabilities they have! Together, we decided to open We Rock the Spectrum – Lake County!
